Each frame measures 20cm x 20cm (7.8”x 7.8”). The flower designs are created onto 10cm x 10cm pieces of fusing glass which is then affixed to window glass. The visible part of each piece is 15cm x 15cm. These box frames are designed to be hung as wall art, but it is possible to remove the mount to display the flower design just on the glass it is fixed to. This is the best way to display the piece so that light floods through the flower design from behind.

Each of these designs is completely unique and these are examples of each style. I generally make these pieces in reds, orange/yellows, blues and pink/purples as well as the lavender. However, I love to experiment with these designs, so if you would like to mix and match the colours please contact me.

Tulips, alliums and lavender

Three styles of flower suncatcher: tulip, lavender and allium. They are all 15cm tall by 8cm wide, and hang on coloured ribbon. The tulips are one of my earliest designs and are great for building up a collection. More colours are available, including some limited editions.

Unlike traditional stained glass craft, these pieces are all created using kiln-forming techniques and specialised fusing glass. The flower designs bring a touch of colour and an airy spring-like feel to interiors. The ideal place to locate them is in front of a window to let the light flood through the coloured glass.
